Course Coordination
From FTA Wiki
As courses at the FTA are now organised in a bottom-up fashion, we present here the main spaces and ways of coordination between the community and peer groups interested in taking a certain course. If you are interested in a course, please read carefully and make sure you're on the mailing list and follow this space. Until new infrastructure is in place, this is the place to find out about the latest info regarding courses most likely to get started.
[edit] Coordination spaces
Discussions about the FTA and which courses can take off when and under what conditions take place in the FTA Discussion list. If you're interested in taking a course, make sure you're on that list. If you want to discuss the future of the FTA, that's also the place to be.
A survey is running to find out which persons are interested in which courses. Please take a minute to fill it out. The preliminary results can be consulted here.
The enrolment process takes place through the FTA Campus Enrolment facility. First you need to create a campus account (free of charge), then confirm the account and login. Then you go to the bottom right in the campus and click 'Enrolment form'.
[edit] Courses that are near to reach the threshold
Courses will take off if a sufficient number of participants have confirmed (and paid) the minimum collected tuition fees for a course. More information is in the Bottom_up Courses page. When the community sees that certain courses are likely to take off in the near future, these can be listed here. That will help us work together and reach the minimum to take off.
